Facilities & Services

A wide range of activities are organised for residents, including indoor and outdoor activities. At Westcroft nursing home, we are very lucky to have our own staff that have been trained in coordinating activities. Relatives and friends are encouraged to participate in all activities/events that are organised by the home.

Events Include:

• Trips to the circus
• Music and entertainment within the Home
• Clothes sale within the Home every three months
• Trips out to the local park
• Quiz games
• Seasonal events such as a Christmas Party and Easter bonnet making
• A buffet style evening tea on the Birthday of all residents in the Home

Trial Periods
We would welcome any prospective residents to come and spend a couple
of days with us to sample the high standard of care that we offer. This trial
period would be free of charge. We are confident that one or two days
spent in our care will help make up your mind that Westcroft would
provide a wonderful setting for you to call “Home”.

• 18 single and 5 shared rooms
• All rooms have TV Aerial sockets
• Wash basin facilities in all rooms with Hot + Cold water and shower socket.
• Call bell systems in all rooms for residents to summon assistance
• 4 person passenger lift
• The home is equipped with the latest specialist aids to ensure maximum safety when handling and bathing clients.
• Fully equipped commercial kitchen for the preparation of home made nutritious meals.
• Full laundry service
• large communal lounge, outside patio and garden area for residents to sit and relax
• Activities coordinator for either group or one to one sessions.
